Only those rodders who can remember the top-end sound of the famed Speed/Sport modified roadster can appreciate how this incredible eight-pipe exhaust system sounded. Barnett remembers that the T took around two years and $2000 to build, and two seconds to sell it for $500 more three years later. The suicide-style front suspension included a Scotty-built tube axle, a ground-and-tapered spring, friction shocks mounted to the framerails, hairpin style wishbones, and 12-inch mag wheels. The rails were painted silver.
